چکیده
Background: Early risk stratification of patients with myocardial infarction is critical to determine optimum treatment strategies and enhance outcomes. The present study was therefore undertaken the relationship between QRS duration (QRSd) on admission ECG left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) as a measure function in non-ST elevated (NSTEMI) patients. Methods: This observational carried out from January December 2020 total 120 history NSTEMI. Based cut-off value 100 msec, were divided into two groups – one group d” msec (normal QRS) another > (prolonged QRS). Left systolic considered preserved, if it e” 52% reduced < 52%. association correlation LVEF then observed. Results: prevalence prolonged (> msec) double (38%) than that preserved (19.5%). having LV dysfunction 2.5 (95% CI = 1.1 6.2) times higher normal (d” (p 0.039). bear significantly inverse (r -0.341, p 0.001). sensitivity correctly detecting inappreciably low (38%), although its specificity excluding those who did not have (80.5%) overall diagnostic accuracy being 52.5%. Conclusion: Prolonged standard 12-lead associated echocardiographic LVEF. However, predicting much less sensitive, indicating good predictor (reduced LVEF), but can dependably predict do (preserved LVEF). Cardiovasc j 2022; 15(1): 36-41

Relationship between mean platelet volume and left ventricular systolic function in patients with metabolic syndrome and ST-elevation myocardial infarction.
PURPOSE Mean platelet volume (MPV) is an indicator of platelet activation, which is a central process in the pathophysiology of coronary heart disease. Metabolic syndrome (MS) may lead to worsened left ventricular systolic function by causing recurrent thrombotic events and by aggravating systemic inflammation in the course of acute myocardial infarction. The present study was designed to inves...
